HG’s Magical Low-Cal Margarita
Per Serving (entire recipe, 1 margarita): 115 calories, 0g fat, 55mg sodium, 2g carbs, 0g fiber, less than .05g sugars, 0g protein
Ingredients:
1-1/5 ounces tequila
1 ounce lime juice
One 2-serving packet (about 1 teaspoon) sugar-free lemonade powdered drink mix
6 ounces diet lemon-lime soda
Optional garnish: lime slice
Directions:
1. Combine tequila, lime juice, and powdered drink mix in a glass. 2. Stir to dissolve drink mix. 3. Transfer mixture to a shaker filled with ice. 4. Add soda and stir, stir, stir. 5. Strain into a margarita glass with lots of crushed ice. 6. If you like, finish it off with a slice of lime on the rim of the glass. HG Alternative! For a frozen version, toss your mixture into a blender instead of a shaker.
Add 1 cup crushed ice or 5 to 8 ice cubes, and blend at high speed until mixed well! Makes 1 Serving.
Pina Colada Freeze
Per Serving (entire recipe, 1 drink): 156 calories, less than 0.5g fat, 41mg sodium,
18g carbs, 0.5g fiber, 12g sugars, 2g protein
Ingredients:
1-1/2 ounces coconut rum
1-1/2 ounces sugar-free calorie-free coconut-flavored syrup
1/4 cup fat-free vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon canned crushed pineapple packed in juice
1 no-calorie sweetener packet
1 cup crushed ice or 5 to 8 ice cubes
Instructions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender. 2. Blend at high speed until smooth and completely mixed. 3. Pour and enjoy. Makes 1 Serving.
